Quince Gin!

I hope December is treating you well.

I am SUPER excited to announce that we have finally introduced our own craft gin to our bar. Quince Gin is a beautiful craft gin that we have been working on for a few months with Hope on Hopkins. We decided to add quince fruit that is grown on the Vredenheim farm into our gin, hence the name Quince Gin.

Quince is not that well known, simply because its not a fruit that we consume daily like an apple or pear, which is why we love it. The fruit has a rather dry taste which works well in a gin, however we did add something sweet to help it along (not sugar, don't worry) and even a little bit of spice to give it a kick too. If that wasn't enough, we poured it into an American Oak barrel and let it mellow.

Our gin is available in a Classic style as well as the barrel aged version. Both are delicious and both have received the Classic Cats gold seal of approval. Our gins are only available at Classic Cats and we are making very small batches at a time.
