Q: Why Classic Cats?
 

A: Classic Cats have been in business for more than 10 years with just over 700 bookings under our belts. We can also confidently say that we have the best kept classic car fleet in the Western Cape. 

 

Q: Who owns your cars?
A: ALL our vintage cars are owned by us. We are not a booking agent who relies on other owners to supply vehicles on our behalf. All our cars can be viewed at any stage ensuring the car you book will be the car at your wedding.

 

Q: What peace of mind do I receive?
A: From the moment you enquire you are dealing directly with one of the owners.All our cars are parked at a wine estate in Stellenbosch, where the cars can be viewed. Classic Cats is a well run small business and not a side line hobby. 

 

 

Q: Who drives the cars and what is Public Liability Insurance?
A: All our drivers work for us part time and they all have the correct Public driving licences. We provide 5 million Rand Passenger Liability insurance for your peace of mind too.

 

Q: Are you a taxi company?
A: We are not a taxi or shuttle service, we provide classic cars for special occasions. Providing vintage vehicles is our business, we unfortunately are not a metered taxi service.

 

Q: How does the booking process work?.
A: We will respond to your enquiry with our standard rates email. If you are happy to proceed, then we will send you a booking form. Based on the info given, we will provide you with the required hours needed as well as if there is any additional costs. Once the final amount is approved then a 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. When this is paid, an invoice will be issued with the remaining balance and date payable. Easy as that.

 

Q:When does the standard 3 hours start?.

A: The time starts when we depart our showroom and stops when we have returned. Please keep this in mind.

 

Q: What is the shortest duration that a car can be rented?.
A: The shortest duration is 2 hours.

 

Q: What happens if the car breaks down?
A: Thankfully this has never happened, simply because we maintain our cars, however should it happen we always have an emergency Jaguar available.

 

Q: How do I go about viewing the cars?
A: The cars are parked at Vredenheim Wine estate where they  are all visible in the showroom, however if you wish to meet, then we simply need to set up an appointment. 

 

Q: What about traffic?

A: We always leave a few minutes earlier to try and avoid any delays, however if we are held up we will always let you know.

Q: Does Classic Cats only rent out classic cars?

A: Classic Cats offers a wide range of additional services all relating to classic cars. We sell a few classics from our private collection, but we also offer a servicing, light restoration work and polishing on clients classics. Get more info HERE.
